Born and raised in the Palisades, Matthew was educated at USC before starting his career in real estate development. With countless commercial and residential projects completed across the country including boutique hotels, hospitals, multi-family housing, and office buildings, Matthew now turns his focus to helping his neighborhood rebuild. His extensive experience as a builder and project manager is second only to his love of Southern California and these impacted neighborhoods. He now looks to transition this extensive experience to custom home building to support the reconstruction effort on the west side. If you can dream it, Matthew can make it a reality.

The Canyon Road Story
In 2018, during the Woolsey Fire, our founder Matthew Tuverson evacuated his home at 2 am with his wife and two toddlers. Three weeks later, he discovered his house had tragically been lost. After losing his home, he decided to use his extensive commercial building experience to build custom homes. Once he obtained his contractor's license, he was among the first in Los Angeles County to complete his home rebuild and move back in
Matthew grew up in the Palisades and attended high school there, where his family still resided until the Palisades fire in 2025. The level of impact to him, his family, and the coast he cares so much about are why we are dedicated to seeing the Palisades recover and thrive again.
